Each holiday season, The Salvation Army engages in the tradition of "staffing the kettles" to promote the plight of the needy in the Sheboygan Area. This practice is critical to The Salvation Army's cause, as the money it raises supports the organization’s programs for the rest of the year. Thanks to the generosity of thousands of Sheboygan Area residents and businesses, The Salvation Army can continue to provide valuable programs such as the homeless shelter, Red Shield Free Clinic, Food Pantry and many other services.
